PRODUCT QUESTIONS

q: How do I remove stains from my dry-erase whiteboard?
q: What size Whiteboard should I buy?

This is situational. Some rooms require a large board, where other rooms will require a smaller board. The best thing to do is to measure out the open area using tape, outline the area that would be covered by the different sizes of whiteboard. This should give you an accurate representation of the whiteboard needed to fill the space.

Check out our different sizes and styles here.

q: Can permanent marker be removed from my dry-erase board?

High quality whiteboard surfaces can be restored. To remove the stain, first draw over the permanent marker with a black dry-erase marker. Let it sit for a few minutes and then erase with a whiteboard eraser. The dry-erase ink and the permanent ink bind together making it easy to erase. Once erased make sure use cleaning solution and give your board a good wipe to get rid of any potential stains.

q: What are the best markers for glass dry-erase boards?

Using Premium Glass Board Dry-Erase Markers are the best option. They are specifically designed for use on glass boards.

q: Can you project onto glass boards?

This is not recommended due to the reflective nature of the glass. Although do-able there is a high probability of having a glare across the image.

q: Do Glass Boards shatter easily?

Our glass boards are made with tempered glass, making them four times stronger than normal glass. If treated correctly glass boards should not shatter easily.

q: How do I clean my glass dry-erase board?

Cleaning your glass board can be done in a few easy steps. You will need 3 things: • A dry-erase marker • A board cleaner • A towel Step 1: Erase the entire board’s surface. It is very important to erase the entirety of the board to eliminate any excess dry-ink dust. This is a vital step to keep a clean and clear surface. Step 2: Apply Cleaning Solution across the entire board. The cleaning solution helps the board resist staining and ghosting. It lifts the dry-ink dust and dirt with ease from your board. Step 3: Dry thoroughly. Using your towel, wipe all the cleaning solution off of the board. If you don’t dry the board well enough, the marker ink and the cleaning solution can combine during the next use. Additional Cleaning Tip and Tricks • To prevent stains and ghosting, erase all ink off of your board after each use • Keeping your markers fresh is very important as well because fresh marker ink is easier to erase from the board’s surface, so it is important to put caps on all your markers tightly after each use. • Erasers can build up residue after multiple uses, so you can wash the microfiber section of the eraser or you can routinely replace your eraser in order to always use a fresh one.

q: What is “Ghosting”?

The term “ghosting” refers to the effect that occurs when remnants of marks made on a whiteboard are left behind even after erasing. That is usually caused by ink seeping into the pores of the whiteboard surface.
